When playing Minecraft, one thing I’ve always felt was “quietly annoying” is item management.
While exploring, mining, or working with traps, my inventory fills up very quickly. Then, when it’s time to move items into chests, I often find myself thinking, “Which chest does this go in?” or “I’ll sort it out later…”. To be honest, it started to feel like a chore.
So I decided to create an add-on that automatically sorts items placed into a chest into predefined category-based chests.
Since installing it, large amounts of stone and ores collected during mining, as well as arrows, bones, rotten flesh, and other items that tend to pile up from traps, are automatically organized just by throwing them into a chest. For someone like me who hates organizing, it has made gameplay much more comfortable.
While it’s certainly convenient, this add-on doesn’t increase items or grant special abilities—it simply eliminates the hassle of manual sorting, so it hardly feels like cheating.
Even when installed on a server, achievements remain enabled.
This add-on is currently available on the page linked below.
If you find chest organization tedious or want to reduce the feeling of repetitive work, I encourage you to give it a try.
